International seminar on RMG held at Harvard University
An international seminar on “Transformation Challenges and Opportunities for Bangladesh Garment Industry” organized by SouthAsia Institute of Harvard University was held at the university.
BGMEA Vice President Md. Shahidullah Azim addressed a session of the seminar titled “Charting the Path to 2018 – the future of the RMG sector in Bangladesh”.
Labor Secretary of Bangladesh Government MikailShipar; Rob Wayss, Executive Director, Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh; Susanne Hoffmann, Director General of Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, German Federal Government; Mara Burr, Senior Vice President, Albright Stonebridge Group; Michael O’Donovan, Bureau of Int’l Labor Affairs, U.S. Department of Labor took part in the session.
